Description: A mix of level paths, and a few steep paths. Suitable in dry weather. Suitable for users of all ages and abilities, suitable for normal footwear and for wheelchairs and pushchairs. To see: Sea views, city views, stream, private gardens, farm animals. Dogs off-leash area. Children’s Playground. Start Point: corner of Robert Ave and Riddell Road, Glendowie
Description: A mix of level paths, gradual inclines and bush tracks. Not wheel-friendly. Suitable for users of average fitness and mobility. May require boots in wet weather, running shoes suitable in dry weather. To see: Sea/harbour views, beach, residential homes, native bush. Children’s playground. Dogs off-leash area. Start Point: Tamaki Drive, St Heliers
To see: Wilderness Nature Reserve. Estuary views, Hauraki Gulf Views, sand spit, mangrove lagoon, Freshwater pond, native birdlife, and native trees. Bring binoculars to view birdlife. Children’s playground. Dogs off-leash area (only in Roberta Reserve). Dogs restricted in nature reserve. Tip: Check for low-tide to do sandspit walk. Start Point: corner of Robert Ave and Riddell Road, Glendowie
St Heliers and the Hauraki Gulf
Description: A mix of level and steep paths. Suitable for most ages and levels of fitness and mobility, designed with flat shoes or running shoes in mind. Not suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Dog off-leash area. Children’s Playgrounds To see: Wonderful views of Rangitoto, Hauraki Gulf and Auckland City. Time: approx. 60 minutes.

Not suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. To see: Wonderful views of Mt Eden and Auckland City skyline. Small areas of bush. Railway track. Birdlife. Volcano crater. Start Point: Orakei Road opposite railway station
Macleans Park and Eastern Beach Circuit
Description: A mix of level paths, steps and steep paths. Suitable for users of average fitness and mobility. May require boots in wet weather, running shoes suitable in dry weather. To see: Hauraki Gulf/Tamaki Strait views, native bush, streams, swimming beach Time: approx. 60 minutes. (about 4 kms) Start Point: Macleans Road opposite Murvale Drive
Pigeon Mountain and Wetland Loops
Description: A mix of level paths, steps and slight incline paths. Suitable for users of average fitness and mobility. May require boots in wet weather, running shoes suitable in dry weather. To see: Auckland City views, Rangitoto Island views, Volcano summit, wetlands, boardwalk, Pukeko bird’s habitat. Time: approx. 60 minutes. (about 4 kms) Start Point: Gills Road just off Pigeon Mountain Road
